Terms of Use
Last updated October 8, 2026
These terms apply when you use the NewsIQ app or this website (together, “NewsIQ”). By using NewsIQ, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use NewsIQ.
Using NewsIQ
NewsIQ is free for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to misuse it: don’t interfere with the service, try to access it in unauthorized ways, scrape or copy its content at scale, or manipulate scores and rankings.
Content
Questions and story summaries are written to be accurate and are based on published reporting, but news changes quickly and mistakes happen. NewsIQ is a game, not a news service of record, so please don’t rely on it as your only source. If you spot an error, tell us at support@news-iq.app.
NewsIQ, its games, design and content belong to us or our licensors. Links to third-party sources are provided for convenience; we aren’t responsible for their content.
Scores and News IQ
Your News IQ, rank, streaks and scores are for fun. They aren’t a measure of intelligence, and we may recalculate, reset or adjust them, for example to fix errors or prevent abuse.
Ads
NewsIQ is supported by advertising. Ads are provided by third parties, and we aren’t responsible for the products or services they advertise.
Availability
We may change, suspend or stop any part of NewsIQ at any time. We provide NewsIQ “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of NewsIQ. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be waived.
App stores
If you downloaded NewsIQ from the Apple App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply. Apple and Google are not responsible for NewsIQ or its support.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we’ll change the date above, and continuing to use NewsIQ means you accept the updated terms.
