Privacy Policy

Last updated October 8, 2026

NewsIQ is a free current-events game. We designed it to work without an account: we don’t ask for your name, email address, phone number or contacts. This policy explains what information the app and this website do collect, why, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

How we use it

We don’t sell your personal information for money. Where advertising partners use device identifiers for personalized ads, you can opt out as described below.

Your choices

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us run NewsIQ (cloud hosting, analytics storage, push delivery, advertising and attribution), under agreements that limit how they can use it. We may also disclose information if the law requires it. A score you choose to share contains only your results and News IQ, never your answers or your device ID.

Retention and security

We keep gameplay and usage data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, and then delete or aggregate it. Data is encrypted in transit and access is restricted to the people who need it.

Children

NewsIQ isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example in California, the EEA or the UK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to make a request; we won’t treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above. If the changes are significant, we’ll also let you know in the app.
